T&Cs for floral preservation

1. Booking & Payment

  • 1.1. A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your preservation date.

  • 1.2. Full payment must be received before any final artwork is released or shipped.

  • 1.3. Prices are subject to change without notice; however, confirmed bookings will remain at the agreed price.

2. Condition of Flowers Upon Arrival

  • 2.1. The quality of the final artwork depends heavily on the condition of the flowers when they arrive at the studio.

  • 2.2. Fresh flowers should be delivered or posted within 1–4 days after the event, depending on shipping method.

  • 2.3. Flowers must arrive hydrated and free from extreme mould or severe wilting.

  • 2.4. If flowers arrive in poor condition (e.g., browned petals, mould, rot, excessive bruising), the artist will:

    • Contact the client with photos

    • Proceed only with the usable blooms

    • Offer the purchase of replacement blooms at cost to the client

  • 2.5. The artist cannot guarantee that flowers in compromised condition will preserve well or maintain their original colour or texture.

3. Artistic Discretion

  • 3.1. By booking, the client grants the artist full artistic freedom in composition, layout, flower selection, and design based on what is viable after preservation.

  • 3.2. Colours may naturally shift during preservation; some blooms may darken, lighten, or change entirely.

  • 3.3. Organic matter such as insects or debris may occasionally be present inside fresh flowers and cannot always be detected before the preservation process.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • 4.1. All booking fees/deposits are non-refundable.

  • 4.2. If the client cancels after flowers have been received or work has begun, no refunds will be issued.

  • 4.3. If the artist must cancel due to illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond control, a full refund (including deposit) will be issued and flowers will be returned.

5. Customer Responsibility for Delivery of Flowers

5.1. The client is responsible for ensuring flowers are delivered safely and on time.

  • 5.2. If using postal or courier services, the client must:

    • Use a tracked and insured service

    • Package flowers securely

    • Follow all shipping instructions provided

  • 5.3. The artist is not responsible for flowers that arrive late, damaged, overheated, or lost in transit.

6. Shipping of Completed Artwork

  • 6.1. Finished pieces are shipped using a tracked method chosen by the studio unless otherwise arranged.

  • 6.2. All parcels are packaged with care; however, once the parcel leaves the studio, responsibility transfers to the postal or courier service.

  • 6.3. The artist is not liable for loss, damage, or delays caused by postal or courier services.

7. Customer Responsibility After Receiving Artwork

  • 7.1. Clients are responsible for proper care once the artwork is received.

  • 7.2. The artist is not responsible for damage resulting from mishandling, humidity, direct sunlight, heat exposure, or improper hanging.

  • 7.3. Floral preservation artwork is delicate and will naturally age over time.

8. Turnaround Time

  • 8.1. Turnaround time varies depending on drying stages, design queue, and frame production.

  • 8.2. All timeline estimates are approximations only; delays do not constitute grounds for refunds.

9. Liability & Limitations

  • 9.1. The artist’s total liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the service.

  • 9.2. The artist is not responsible for:

    • Natural ageing or colour changes over time

    • Minor imperfections inherent to dried flowers

    • Variations in frame materials

    • Allergic reactions to dried flowers or materials
